
The Mission Statement of the Loess Hills Hospitality Association
is to be a citizen advocacy group, focused on public education and
preservation of Iowa's Loess Hills.
The purpose of the Loess Hills Hospitality Association is to support
tourism and cultural exchange in the towns and countryside found in
the Loess Hills of Western Iowa and to increase the appreciation of
the area's unique natural resources by the residents of this area.

of the nation's "10 most outstanding scenic byways". The Loess Hills were cited
for their "unique scenery, geologic and cultural interest" by Scenic America.
The Loess Hills National Scenic Byway began in the "Heart of the Loess Hills". The LHNSB now stretches 220 miles across Western Iowa, the full length
of the Loess Hills.
The LHNSB Loops were created for the traveler to create their own tour. By entering anywhere on the inside of the loop, the road will lead back to the loop elsewhere, thereby allowing for your own exploration. The LHNSB is posted with
this byway sign.
