Dunham Barn on Hwy 37 west of Dunlap is on the National Historic Register. Features a July 4th Celebration with food, games, tours, demonstrations, horse shoeing, pony and buggy rides. Call for tours 712) 643-5191

Nativity Scene, 1 mile northwest of Dunlap off Hwy 37, is open the Sunday after Thanksgiving and all December and has life-size figures of the manger scene, which are lit at night and welcomes visitors.

Murray Hill Scenic Overlook, northeast of Little Sioux on F-20 offers a panoramic view of the Missouri River Valley. See yucca plants and native flowers in the Loess Hills prairie.

Fountainebleau Town site and Pioneer Cemetery, located at the foot of Murray Hill. Founded by Charles Larpenteur, an early fur trader, in the 1850's, Fontainebleau flourished as a supply point, stage stop and post office.
Larpenteur Memorial Road on L-14 extends along the base of the Loess Hills in Harrison and Monona Counties. Dedicated in 1988 to the memory of an early fur trader, Charles Larpenteur.
Murray Hall, built in 1877 by Michael Murray for his mercantile business, is restored and is on the National Register of Historic Places. For tours contact 712) 649-2364

LOGAN:
Harrison County Court House, at 111 North 2nd Avenue in Logan, was built in 1910-1911 and features a beautiful rotunda and murals. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it is open Monday through Friday. 712) 644-2401

MAGNOLIA:
Log Cabin Museum at the City Park in Magnolia was built in 1926 with donated time and materials for the purpose of making a county memorial to its pioneers and early settlers. Call for hours at 712) 648-2333
MISSOURI VALLEY:

Harrison County Historical Village is 3 ½ miles northeast of Missouri Valley on Highway 30. The two story log building houses a county museum and Iowa Welcome Center. 712) 642-2114

DeSoto National Wildlife Refuge Area near Missouri Valley is a prime viewing area for over 400,000 snow geese and ducks that arrive there each November. The Visitor Center is open to the public throughout the year and is also home of the Bertrand Museum. Artifacts from the Bertrand sternwheeler, which sank in the Missouri River, are on display. 712) 642-4121

Missouri Valley Antique Mall, west of Missouri Valley on Hwy 30 has 60 dealers with glassware, primitives, toys, furniture and more. Open 7 days a week. 712) 642-2125
Missouri Valley Arts and Crafts Mall, next door to the antique mall, displays dozens of Midwest crafters arts and crafts. Also located in the mall is a vintage soda fountain. 712) 642-4443
Rialto Theater at 420 East Erie Street has restored art deco theatre and is open daily. 712) 642-3826

Museum of Religious Arts located between Missouri Valley and Logan features life-sized wax King of Kings display along with religious icons, and memorabilia. 712) 644-3193

School House Antiques is an interesting old school house full of antiques, open Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00 PM or call for an appointment. 712) 645-2710
City Park on Howard Street
MONDAMIN:
Small's Fruit Farm and Pie Parlor is 3 miles east of Mondamin on Hwy 127 and 183. The Pie Parlor is open in summer and fall season 7 days a week. Orchard tours with hayrack rides. Fruits of all kinds - picked or pick your own. Fruit farm is open 7 days a week year round. 712) 646-2723
PERSIA:
Hopper Stadium, home of the "Hoppers", the Persia Baseball Association has ball games all summer. Iowa's oldest continuing amateur baseball league plays here.

Loess Hills Forest Visitors Center at 217 Front Street offers visitors a central location to launch an exploration of the Loess Hills. The visitors center features interpretive displays of the forest and forestry, Loess Hills art display, landscaping with plantings of native species. WOODBINE:
Harrison County Genealogical Society & Merry Brook School Museum at 212 Lincoln Way, houses county obituary records from 1898 to 1920 and microfilm of Harrison county records. Merry Brook School is a one-room school from 1890's and is open by appointment. 712) 647-2593
Woodbine Library features scale model of Statue of Liberty and full-size WWI cannon and fountain court. 712) 647-2750
Eby's Drug Store has an old-fashioned soda fountain at 423 Walker St. 712) 647-2840
Countryside Timekeeper features a 1927 Dodge on display along with antique candy counter, and gift items. 712) 647-2850
White Floral Gardens at 11th and Park Street in Woodbine showcases peonies, trees and shrubs each Memorial Day, spring, and summer.
Illinois Central Railroad Depot is one of the last of its type to be standing and is unique in style. Located adjacent to the Merry Brooke School, along the historic Lincoln Highway, it is being restored.
Lincoln Highway has been called America's Main Street. Look for insignias to mark the original route along U.S. Highway 30 in Dunlap, Woodbine, Missouri Valley and the Harrison County Historical Village. Woodbine's Lincoln Way is the best original brick street on the Lincoln Highway in Iowa.
