Western Iowa Art Show
Held in the Spring at the Town and Country Arts Grand Lodge Arts Center in Modale and open to artists in Western Iowa and Eastern Nebraska. Professionally judged and prizes are awarded. 712-647-2239

Town and Country Arts Theatre
A theatre presentation is given in the Spring and in the Fall at the Town and Country Arts Grand Lodge Arts Center in Modale. 712-647-2239

Artists in the Park
Held at various times in different communities of Harrison County. Town & Country Arts secures artists of various disciplines to work with youth and adults in "hands on art". 712) 647-2239

The Village Green
Third Saturday in May. Family activities and food in Logan City Park, tractor display. 712) 644-2310

Gospel Sing
Second weekend in June. 3-day annual gospel sing, gospel groups, music and fellowship at the Fairgrounds and City Park in Missouri Valley. 712) 647-2509

Pisgah Play Days
Last weekend in June. Pisgah has parade, carnival, antique and classic car show, food, games, teen and adult dance. 712) 456-2301

July 4th Celebrations in Harrison County:

Dunlap and Logan feature a parade, fireworks and celebration on the 4th of July.
Dunham Barn on Hwy 37 west of Dunlap hosts a July 4th Celebration with food, games, tours, demonstrations, horse shoeing, pony and buggy rides. Call for tours 712) 643-5191

Harrison County Fair
Third or last weekend of July. 4-H exhibits, carnival, grandstand events, dance, food and parade abound at the City Park and fairgrounds in Missouri Valley. 712) 644-2105, ISU Extension

Rodeo Days
Third weekend in July. Woodbine holds this annual rodeo Friday and Saturday nights with a parade on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. 723) 647-2641

Four County Fair
First weekend in August. Held at the Dunlap Fairground, this old-fashioned county fair offers exhibits, horse show, tractor pull, 4-H exhibits, livestock and lots of food.

Little Sioux Homecoming
Last weekend in August. This celebration includes a parade, carnival, teen and adult dance, barbecue, and dinner at the Legion Hall in Little Sioux.

Old Settlers Annual Picnic
Fourth weekend in August. The first Old Settlers meeting was held in Magnolia in 1885 to renew friendships. Activities include entertainment, parade, carnival, games, food and dance. 712) 646-2707

Old Time Country Jamboree
Last week of August. This week long festival of country music is held at the fairground in Missouri Valley. 712) 642-2553

Woodbine Applefest
Last Saturday in September. The day includes entertainment, arts and craft show, apple stands, 2 & 5-mile runs, toy & quilt show, food stands, antique vehicle display, barbecue, and airport activities. 712) 647-2550

"Safe Halloween at the Village"
Last Saturday in October. Harrison County Historical Village on Hwy 30 hosts Trick or treating activities for children from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. 712) 642-2114

Town & Country Arts Christmas Tour of Homes
First Sunday in December. Tour homes decked out for Christmas in a different Harrison County Community each year. 712) 647-2239

Nativity Scene
Opens Sunday after Thanksgiving and all month of December. Created in 1951, this life-size wax nativity is 1 mile northwest of Dunlap off Hwy 37. 712) 643-5942

Starlight Pilgrimage Walk
Second Sunday of December. 1-mile walk or wagon ride, rain or shine. Bring flashlight. Caroling, cider and cookies at Dunham Barn. Call first 712) 643-5191

St Patrick's Craft Fair
First Saturday in December. This annual fair features crafts; bake sale, luncheon, door prizes every hour. Held at the Parish Center on U.S. Hwy 30. 712) 643-5942
